Andy Murray`s retirement from tennis will be the leading news in the world of aristocratic sports for a long time. The famous Scot announced that because of the severe thigh pain he feels, the Australian Open may be his last tournament, though he hopes to get to Wimbledon. His decision has made everyone aware of how important he has been to tennis in recent years.

- Roger, Andy Murray is the first of the so-called Big Four who will say goodbye to tennis. How makes you feel?


`It undoubtedly has a huge impact on the way we all feel about Andy. It is always sad when someone retires, but when there is someone as important a player as he is undoubtedly, the effect is many times greater. It is clear that we will all get there at some point, but it is unpleasant when such a great champion as he has to break apart with what he loves. He is an incredible fighter and tried to regain his top shape despite the serious injury and the great pain he felt but unfortunately he did not get. On the other hand, we are all glad that he managed to make the decision to withdraw in a decent way, and thus to keep the memory of all the great things he has achieved. I wish him all the best in the future and I hope his career will end where he wants -of Wimbledon. I do not know if the Australian Open will be his last tournament, but even so, he will be able to look back and feel proud of himself.
`How will the situation change in personally for you after Murray`s retirement? `


- Andy is very popular in the dressing room and everyone is well with him. Besides being a very talented player, he was a true example of discipline and professionalism. I think that because of his proverbial hard work he never gets the deserved recognition of his natural talent, which I think is not fair. However, his career is incredible. Besides being a member of the Hall of Fame, he also received a knighthood -;something that few athletes can boast. He`s a great guy and he`s definitely going to miss us all.
